Saxon Street, Brunswick
McCorkell Constructions, Brunswick, VIC
Saxon Street is a distinctive addition to the Brunswick precinct, delivered by Proline in collaboration with McCorkell Constructions.
The project featured more than 2,000 square metres of custom COLORBOND® steel in Cappella, sourced from a limited overseas colour range specifically for the building. The material was roll-formed using Archclad's Cryptray 48 system, creating a continuous architectural language across both the roof and wall cladding.
Proline Fabrication also produced a series of highly detailed elements for the project. These included curved custom aluminium window shrouds fabricated from 10 mm plate and several hundred square metres of gold powder-coated aluminium cassette panels tailored to the building's distinctive geometry.
From material coordination and detailed fabrication through to installation, Saxon Street reflects Proline's integrated delivery model. The completed facade brings together complex forms, custom finishes and carefully resolved junctions in a bold architectural outcome delivered across the wider Proline group.
